This position requires working 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a variety of settings. This role involves performing diagnostic testing, administering therapies, and supporting patients with respiratory issues under the direction of a physician. The therapist will work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure effective patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and therapy in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in their medical condition.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care methods and the use of equipment.
• Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Conduct tests to assess lung function and oxygen saturation levels.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.

Required Experience

• Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT).
• Experience in an acute care or clinical setting preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid state Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
