Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Float Pool to provide critical care in a very busy Emergency Department. This position primarily involves managing boarder patients in the ED, with potential to float to acute units such as Medical-Surgical, Stepdown, or ICU as needed. Ideal candidates will have a comprehensive set of clinical skills and the ability to adapt to various patient care settings effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to ED boarder patients.
- Float to various acute units as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sized Level 1 trauma facility.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required.
