This position offers a Night Shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15, totaling 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe care. The RN will maintain clinical competencies and supervise assigned personnel in the delivery of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to personnel involved in patient care.

Required Experience

• Must possess vent/trach experience.
• Knowledge of central lines is required.
• Preferred experience in wound care.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must have current Florida RN license or multi-state compact RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required (must be through the American Heart Association).
