Job Description

This role is for a Surgical Technologist in a busy Labor and Delivery unit that delivers approximately 300 babies a month. You will be responsible for assisting in various surgical procedures including C-sections, Tubals, Hysterectomies, D&C procedures, and playing a crucial role during emergency post-partum hemorrhages.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing in for surgical procedures such as C-sections, Tubals, and Hysterectomies.
• Assisting with D&C procedures and MTP processes during emergencies.
• Working within a two-operating room setup in a high-volume L&D unit.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Labor and Delivery specialty.

Certifications/Licensure

• Required: AHA BLS certification.
• Preferred: NBSTA or NCCT certification.
