3x12 hour shifts, rotating days and nights. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical unit in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide care to adult and geriatric patients. You will work in a collaborative environment supported by various interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services. This role requires proficiency with oxygen administration and telemetry skills, focusing on delivering safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to medical-surgical patients with a focus on telemetry.
• Ensure proper administration of oxygen and management of oxygen tanks.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care plans and discussions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes.
• Maintain effective communication with both patients and families regarding care plans.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania or multi-state/compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
