3 x 12-hour shifts with rotating schedules.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. This role involves coordinating patient care within the interdisciplinary care team and providing patient education to ensure safe discharge. The nurse must maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver age-appropriate care to patients served on the assigned unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds to ensure quality customer service and address unmet needs.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care based on patient assessments.
• Assess and address the patient's condition, self-reported symptoms of pain, and respond to changes in patient status.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members, documenting observations and actions accurately.
• Initiate discharge planning and provide education to patients and their families.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Complete and submit incident reports as required.

Required Experience

• Valid Registered Nurse license in North Dakota or compact state agreement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• STABLE certification.
