X-Ray Tech

ARMStaffing is looking for a Radiologic Technologist, X-Ray Tech (Night Shift) in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position follows a rotating schedule of 3 shifts in the first pay week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) and 3 shifts in the second pay week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday), with night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will be part of a Level I trauma center and will require extensive experience in the Operating Room (OR). Familiarity with Siemens and GE imaging equipment is necessary. The clinician will be responsible for performing X-ray procedures, ensuring high-quality images are obtained, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct X-ray imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring it is functional and safe.
• Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the charting system (Cerner).
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a radiology role, with at least 1 year of travel experience.
• Extensive OR experience in a Level I trauma center is preferred.
• Ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs, including ED, inpatient, outpatient, OR, and portables.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT certification is required.
• Active TN license or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal.
• BLS certification is required.
