Schedule/Shift

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with 6 weekend shifts required per schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will function as a bedside nurse in a critical access hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU), providing care for critically ill adult patients. The position may involve assistance on the Med-Surg unit when ICU patient census is low. Candidates must be comfortable with critical care and possess the ability to manage a limited number of Med-Surg patients or assist in patient care activities as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU.
• May assist on the Med-Surg unit depending on patient census.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and patient care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document all patient care activities in the EPIC system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Valid nursing license (Compact license must be in hand at submission).
