Schedule/Shift

This position is a full-time role with a schedule of 5 days a week, working 8-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to their needs, goals, and physician directives. The therapist will ensure effective treatment programs to facilitate patients' return to community activities and provide education to patients, families, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on patient progress towards discharge.
• Document medical records accurately and promptly, including goal writing and assessments.
• Ensure all care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
• Participate in student programs by providing supervision and completing evaluations.
• Engage in professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to state practice acts and complete necessary continuing education requirements.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active/state-required licensure for practicing Physical Therapy.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas is required.
