Schedule/Shift

This position requires a Night Shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications. This role involves collaboration with healthcare teams and participating in treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' conditions, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and care options.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit setting preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Mississippi.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
