Schedule/Shift

36 hours per week with every other weekend requirement; no holiday or on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, identifying priorities for care, and developing individualized plans. The RN will perform therapeutic interventions, manage patient care, advocate for evidence-based practices, and provide patient-centric care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist with care as directed by physicians.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs through assessment and prioritize accordingly.
• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as required.
• Document care in alignment with standards and patient acuity.
• Advocate for and adopt evidence-based practice standards.
• Provide patient-centered care adhering to the professional nursing practice model.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry experience required.

Certifications/Licensure

• ASN from an accredited school of nursing required.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam required.
