Job Description

The Intensive Care Unit at HCA Healthcare Tomball is a 20-bed unit that provides critical care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. The unit utilizes advanced technology and equipment, including Baxter Pumps and the Expanse electronic medical record system. Candidates can expect to engage in procedures such as intubation, central line placements, endoscopy, tracheostomy, and chest tube insertion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Perform complex procedures as required.
• Monitor and manage ventilator and drip titration methods.
• Collaborate with a team of doctors and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans in EMR.

Required Experience

• Medical ICU experience is mandatory.
• Experience with ventilator and drip titration is essential.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ACLS certification is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
