Schedule/Shift

This position requires a schedule of 6:30 AM to 5 PM, with shifts consisting of 10 hours each, on a rotational basis including on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will provide comprehensive care in the cardiac catheterization lab, working primarily with electrophysiology (EP), structural heart procedures, and coronary interventions. The unit typically operates with a patient census of about 120 and is equipped with advanced technology from GE, Phillips, and Siemens. The EMR system utilized is Merge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing various procedures within the cardiac cath lab, including EP and structural heart interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain equipment and documentation according to unit protocols.
• Participate in call rotations alongside existing staff.

Required Experience

• Candidates must have prior experience in a Cath Lab setting. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS and BLS certification are required.
• RCIS certification is preferred but not mandatory.
