ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (Day Shift) in Wilson, North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

7A or 7P shifts with a weekly guaranteed hours of 36. Weekend hours involve working every other or every third weekend with 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult patients with critical health situations. The ICU has a capacity of 16 beds, and you will work in a team-oriented environment to ensure effective patient care using advanced equipment and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the ICU.
• Administer medications and intravenous (IV) therapies as prescribed.
• Maintain and monitor essential medical equipment, such as cardiac monitors and IV pumps.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation through Meditech EMR.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in critical care nursing, including EKG interpretation and critical drip titration knowledge.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
