Job Description

The PCU at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is a 45-bed unit dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients requiring cardiac observation and management. The unit is equipped with the latest technology, including lifts, dynamap, and cardiac monitoring equipment. Staff on the unit are committed to teamwork and maintaining a positive environment for both staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac drips and manage cardiac catheters.
• Oversee chest tube management, wound care, and TPN/lipids administration.
• Provide exceptional patient care while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient information and care procedures in Meditech EMR.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including nursing staff and physicians.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
