Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide patient care in a float capacity across various units within a large academic hospital setting. This role requires adaptability and the ability to work with diverse patient populations in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients in multiple units.
• Assist in the assessment and implementation of patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with team members.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discussions about patient care.
• Demonstrate flexibility by floating between units as needed.

Required Experience

• 1 year of experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score.
• 2 years of RN experience without testing requirements.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of New York.
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
