ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Night Shift) in Spokane, Washington.

Schedule: Night Shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Telemetry Nurse will work in a heavy neuro unit, caring for post-surgical neurology patients and managing various neurological diagnoses. Nurses must be comfortable using the NIH scale and have proficiency in telemetry nursing. This position will require working in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a telemetry setting, specifically for neurology patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Assist with post-surgical care for neurology patients, including craniotomies and spinal cord injuries.
• Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience.
• Experience working in a neurology unit is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington (or compact license).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
