Job Description
Join the dynamic team at Mission Hospital's Progressive Care Unit, which serves as an overflow unit for medical surgical and step-down patients. This fast-paced environment is geared towards short-stay patients with a goal of 24-hour length of stay. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring, and all patients are hardwired to bedside monitors. The electronic medical record system in use is Cerner.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced, mixed level of care environment.
- Monitor patients with telemetry and respond to any changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with a healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Assist in the short stay procedure and ensure quick turnover of patients.
Required Experience
- Telemetry competency.
- Progressive Care experience.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
