Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, requiring advanced clinical skills and critical thinking. The RN will assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
- Implement nursing interventions based on individual care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide quality care.
Required Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Experience in an Intensive Care Unit setting is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
