Job Description
Join the Multi-Trauma Unit (MTU) at HCA HealthONE Swedish, a Level 1 trauma center known for handling complex and challenging cases. You will be part of a highly motivated team delivering exceptional care to an acute patient population. This unit features advanced medical equipment and provides a supportive environment with strong teamwork and backing from charge nurses and tech staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for trauma patients, including managing chest tubes and tracheostomies.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment such as ventilators, feeding pumps, intravenous (IV) pumps, and wound vacs.
- Document patient information using the Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification is also required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
