ARMStaffing is looking for a Physical Therapist, Outpatient Clinic (Day Shift) in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Days: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Work at the hospital one Saturday per month.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient therapy, helping patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. This role encompasses developing individualized treatment plans, utilizing techniques to promote movement, and facilitating overall wellness for long-term health benefits. Responsibilities also include working to prevent loss of mobility before it occurs and contributing to fitness-oriented programs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients on how to manage their conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient care.
• Document patient treatments and progress in EMR systems (ReDoc/NetHealth, MedHost).

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Current New Mexico licensure or pending NM state licensure.
• BLS certification required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist license in New Mexico or pending state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
