ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Pediatric ICU (Night Shift) in Asheville, North Carolina.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, guaranteed 48 hours per week with potential for overtime after 48 hours.

Job Description

The Pediatric ICU Nurse will be an integral part of the pediatric and oncology unit at Mission Hospital, providing care to critically ill children. The unit consists of 19 total beds, including 13 pediatric beds and 6 oncology beds, and is staffed with a collaborative team of registered nurses and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with critical illnesses.
• Utilize advanced equipment, such as Alaris pumps, and manage electronic medical records using Cerner.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:5 depending on acuity.
• Collaborate closely with oncology nurses and respiratory therapists in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Required Experience

• Hospital experience in pediatric nursing.
• Experience in pediatric oncology is highly preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• PALS and BLS certifications are required.
