Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. No call, weekends, or holidays required.

Job Description

UCF Lake Nona Medical Center is a 64-bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to the communities of Lake Nona and the surrounding areas. The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech will play a key role in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, providing diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including obtaining consent and ensuring comfort.
• Monitor patients' vital signs during and after procedures.
• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of equipment and supplies in the lab.
• Document all procedures and patient care accurately in compliance with healthcare standards.

Required Experience

Experience in cardiac catheterization or similar procedures in a hospital setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

Current ARRT or comparable certification required; state licensure as applicable to the role.
