Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to effectively manage patient needs during pre-procedural, intra-procedural, and post-procedural phases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Provide patient education and emotional support regarding cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess patient needs and plan care.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or similar critical care environment.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Must have or be willing to obtain relevant certifications specific to cardiac care.
