ARMStaffing is looking for a CVOR Tech, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Hudson, Florida.

Schedule/Shift

Shift hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The CVOR Tech will join a dedicated team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center with a bed capacity of 309. The unit comprises 12 surgical suites and 2 Cardiovascular Operating Rooms (CVORs) where typical procedures include CABG and valve replacement, as well as thoracic and vascular surgeries. Candidates must be proficient in the Meditech electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of CVOR equipment.
• Collaborate with RNs and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Prepare operating rooms before surgeries, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Support diverse surgical procedures and assist where needed, including in the Main OR.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of CVOR experience. Experience in the Main OR along with the willingness to float is essential.

Certifications/Licensure

Current BLS certification required. Additional certifications may be preferred but not mandatory.
