This position requires a Night Shift from 2:45 PM to 3:15 AM, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide care to patients experiencing trauma, stroke, and chest pain. The unit consists of a 10-room facility with a capacity of 19 beds/chairs and maintains a patient ratio of 4:1. The EMR system used in this facility is MEDHOST.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Manage trauma cases, stroke patients, and those presenting with chest pain.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using MEDHOST EMR.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Required Experience
Two years of relevant nursing experience is required. Travel experience is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN licensure.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC accepted).
