Shifts consist of (5) 8-hour days or (4) 10-hour days, with no weekend or holiday requirements.

Job Description

The Certified Radiation Therapist will work in a Radiation Oncology setting. Responsibilities include delivering radiation treatment using Varian equipment, including the Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA Oncology Information System. This role requires experience with IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT procedures, primarily treating an adult population with limited pediatric cases.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by Radiation Oncologists.
• Utilize Varian TrueBeam and ARIA systems for documenting patient information.
• Manage a typical patient load of approximately 25 patients per machine daily.

Required Experience

Applicants must have experience with IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT in a clinical setting. Experience treating both adult and pediatric populations is preferred, but not mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT registered Radiation Therapist.
• Valid West Virginia state license.
