ARMStaffing is looking for a Cath Lab Tech in Columbia, South Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Rotating 4x10 hour shifts, including day shifts from 07:00 to 17:30 and 09:30 to 20:00. All team members will rotate their shifts weekly, with call requirements for one weekend per 7 weeks and one evening shift weekly.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, proficiently scrubbing and monitoring during cases. The tech will work in a fast-paced environment running multiple labs with a high daily caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily caseload typically ranging from 20-25 cases per day across 4 to 5 labs.
• Perform coronary diagnostic procedures, including catheter placements and stenting.
• Monitor patient vitals and support the procedures with scrubbing assistance.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Strong proficiency in coronary diagnostic/intervention processes.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must have or be in process of obtaining ARRT or RCIS certification.
• Active South Carolina license required.
• Radiation badge provided by the agency is required.
