3x12 Hour shifts, 07:30 - 20:00, every other weekend required, and holidays as scheduled.
Job Description
The Emergency Department is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care in a fast-paced environment. You will work with patients across all age ranges, managing a variety of diagnoses including chest pain, stroke, sepsis, cardiac arrest, and trauma.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and provide nursing care for patients presenting in the Emergency Department.
- Utilize emergency equipment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prepare for and respond to critical situations.
- Document patient interactions and care in the EPIC charting system.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Float within the Emergency Department as needed, based on patient acuity and department demands.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of emergency nursing experience required.
- Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers with 5+ years of experience will be considered.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and TNCC certifications are required.
