ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Baltimore, Maryland.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Rotating Day Shift with 2 shifts of 8 hours and 2 shifts of 12 hours (07:00-15:30 / 07:00-19:30).Minimum of one weekend per month and required holidays as scheduled. 36 hours of on-call coverage required per 6-week scheduling cycle.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role includes working in various surgical procedures, including trauma, and may require floating to pre-op and PACU departments as necessary. Strong communication and team collaboration skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures and ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain sterile environment and assist the surgical team as needed.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during procedures.
- Document patient information accurately in the Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
- Circulating and scrub experience required.
- Trauma Level II experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license in Maryland or Compact License.
- BLS certification required.
- CNOR certification preferred.
