ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit (Night Shift) in Lubbock, Texas.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend coverage is required with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. On-call is not required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit, focusing primarily on telemetry and neuro patients including those with TIA, stroke, and neurosurgical conditions. The RN will be responsible for managing cardiac drips, performing central and peripheral line care, and administering blood products while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams.
• Maintain compliance with safety and isolation protocols.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar telemetry environment.
• Previous charge experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid RN license (compact license accepted).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
