This is a 6-month contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for conducting patient evaluations, providing treatment, and performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation and acute care setting. Familiarity with the Cerner EMR system is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations to assess speech and swallowing disorders.
• Provide appropriate treatment plans and interventions for patient conditions.
• Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) independently.
• Document patient progress and treatment in accordance with the Cerner EMR system.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a rehabilitation or acute care environment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency required.
• BLS certification required.
