Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will provide care for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. You will be responsible for monitoring and assisting patients, conducting assessments, and providing education and support to families.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during labor and delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health.
• Perform assessments and intervene as necessary.
• Educate and support families through the birthing process.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must hold an active Washington State Registered Nurse License.
• Must have an American Heart Association BLS Card.
• Completion of NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification is preferred.
