7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour night shift, guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Job Description

The Emergency Department at TriStar Stonecrest Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care. The unit features 39 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1 (with surge bed assignments), and a variety of equipment including Rapid Infuser and Glidescope. The nursing team works collaboratively to ensure effective patient care and positive experiences.

Responsibilities

• Administer critical care medications and manage sedation protocols.
• Assume responsibility for patient assessment and monitoring during emergencies.
• Perform life-saving procedures including intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting.
• Ensure accurate documentation using the Meditech EDM system.
• Collaborate with team members to provide compassionate and effective care.

Required Experience

• Experience with critical care drips, sedation, Emergency Severity Index (ESI), and managing codes.
• Experience with STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis management.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications are required.
• Active Tennessee RN License.
