ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cardiac and Pulmonary (Night Shift) in Beckley, West Virginia.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week, working every other weekend for 24 hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a critical care step-down unit with a focus on cardiac and pulmonary patients aged 18 and up. The unit features 22 beds and maintains a patient ratio of 4:1. Registered Nurses will utilize cardiac monitors and vital sign machines while documenting using the Meditech system.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Perform assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care or step-down unit.
• Experience with post cardiac catheterization care and peritoneal dialysis is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Active RN license.
