Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a commitment of 36 hours every other weekend, working 8-hour shifts.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in our Long-Term Care facility, you will be providing essential patient care for our skilled and long-term care residents, which may include individuals with dementia. You will utilize your clinical skills while working with a dedicated team to ensure the highest quality of care within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Carry out assessments and document accordingly in the electronic medical record (EMR) systems: PCC and EPIC.
• Utilize equipment such as total lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, Doppler, EKG, IVs, and feeding tubes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes.

Required Experience

At least 1 year of experience in nursing with travel experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• IV certification preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
