Job Description
This position is for an experienced ICU nurse responsible for total care of ICU patients, including those on ventilators and titratable drips. The role requires patient hygiene care and documentation using the MedHost EMR system. The unit consists of 12 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2-3.
Responsibilities
- Provide total care for ICU patients, managing ventilators and titratable drips.
- Assist with patient hygiene and other essential nursing duties.
- Document patient care and progress in the MedHost EMR system.
- Float to the ER and Med-Surg departments as required.
- Support nursing team in handling call lights, administering medications, and performing blood draws.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
- Experience with ventilators and titratable drips.
- Strong understanding of patient hygiene practices.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- TNCC certification preferred.
