ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Long Term Care (Weekend PM Shift) in Mauston, Wisconsin.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires weekend shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a schedule of Saturday, Sunday, and Monday or Tuesday.

Job Description

The Nursing Home Registered Nurse will assist with day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring exceptional healthcare for residents. This role requires diligent communication with physicians and families about significant changes in resident conditions and performing necessary assessments.

Responsibilities

• Timely communication of significant changes in resident condition to physicians and families.
• Complete all applicable resident assessments.
• Administer medications while adhering to the 5 Rights of medication administration.
• Perform wound care and assessments as required.
• Assist CNAs with answering call lights and needs of residents.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Act as a leader by assessing and directing situations effectively.
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
• Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Required Experience

• Two-year degree in nursing is required; a four-year degree in nursing is preferred.
• Must hold and maintain a Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Wisconsin Registered Nursing license required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
