7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with call requirements for one day a week and one weekend a month.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab will work within a dynamic environment that includes three cath labs along with a holding area for in-patients and a radial lounge for out-patients. The role involves caring for adult patients undergoing a variety of cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and administer medications during cardiac procedures.
• Utilize various equipment including OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, and IABP.
• Collaborate with a team of 13 RNs and 7 Techs to provide excellent patient care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions during and after procedures.
• Document patient information and maintain accurate records using Sunrise / Allscripts, Mac Lab.

Required Experience

• Critical care experience.
• Experience with Impella and IABP.
• Proficient in independently titrating drips.
• ACLS certification is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN License.
• ACLS certification required.
