ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Surgery (Day Shift) in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Scheduled shift is from 06:00 to 16:30. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients in a fast-paced environment. The facility has a bed capacity of 288 and seeks nurses to join their dedicated team focused on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and nursing standards.
• Monitor patients' conditions and vital signs, and administer medication as prescribed.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and aftercare.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess an active Registered Nurse (RN) license and relevant experience in cardiovascular surgery or a similar clinical setting.

Certifications/Licensure

Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
