ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Operating Room (Day Shift) in Seattle, Washington.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift, 4x10 hours from 06:45 to 17:15, with cardiac call obligations that include 3 weeknight call shifts per 4-week schedule and 2 - 24-hour weekend shifts per month.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room will provide comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient population in a high-acuity academic environment. This role involves circulating and scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to orthopedic sports cases, robotics, general, GYN, URO, and plastics. Experience with neuro, spine, thoracic, and vascular surgeries will be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a busy operating room setting and have experience with the EPIC charting system.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub surgeries in the cardiovascular operating room.
• Assist in a variety of complex surgical procedures.
• Maintain a safe and organized surgical environment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and provide patient-centered care.
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
• Experience with advanced surgical techniques and procedures.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
