ARMStaffing is looking for a CVOR Tech, Vascular and Hearts (Day Shift) in Columbia, South Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

4x10 Day Shift. Call requirements will be discussed during the interview. On-call for Vascular is approximately 7 to 10 days per month, including weekends. On-call for Hearts is about 10 to 15 days per month with 2 weekends included.

Job Description

The CVOR Tech will be primarily responsible for assisting in surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room. This role includes scrubbing cases and supporting the nursing staff as needed. The tech will work with a variety of equipment and procedures, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile environments for surgeries.
• Assist in surgical procedures, specifically in cardiovascular surgery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and universal precautions.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in CVOR. Experience with Angioplasty/stenting, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, and Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification required.
• NBSTSA certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
