4x10 hour shifts, varying start times of 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing very basic studies, with a primary focus on stress tests. This role operates within an acute care hospital setting that has an average daily census of 10 patients. The department is equipped with 2 Siemens cameras. Technologists will receive support from a transport team and will share evening and weekend call responsibilities with two other technologists.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nuclear medicine procedures, focusing on stress tests.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Epic system.
• Operate Siemens cameras and perform imaging procedures as required.
• Participate in weekend and evening on-call as needed.
• Assist in patient transport as necessary.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current California State License.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• BLS certification.
