ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, ICU Float Pool (12H Day) in Burlington, Vermont.

Assignment Duration
This is a 16-26 week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
12-hour Day shift from 07:00 to 19:00. A minimum of every other weekend is required, and travelers must be flexible with their schedule, including working two out of the four holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.
Job Description
The RN for the ICU Float Pool will primarily be based in the Medical ICU and overflow neuro units. Floating to various areas within the central pool ICU is required, so candidates must be flexible in their scheduling and ready to float to units of like skill and ability, including ED Boarders and possible surge areas. This position requires expertise with multi-system disease management, CRRT, IAPB, ECMO, and critical ventilator care.
Responsibilities
- Start IVs and manage multiple titrating drips.
- Provide critical care for patients, including those on ventilators.
- Float between different ICU units as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a large (500+ bed count) teaching facility.
- Previous travel experience required.
Certifications/Licensure
- AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications are required.
- NIHSS certification required prior to start; CCRN certification preferred.
- Valid RN license in the state of Vermont is required.
