Schedule/Shift

Schedule varies between 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM and 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, typically 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Oncology will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as ordered.
• Monitor patient's vital signs and health status throughout treatment.
• Educate patients and families about treatment processes and care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in oncology nursing is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current AHA BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Chemotherapy certification.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
