This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift with a weekly guaranteed hours of 36. Weekend hours required every other weekend depending on unit staffing needs.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry/PCU unit at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, you will provide care for cardiac patients, including those with common diagnoses such as chest pain (CP), myocardial infarction (MI), and postoperative recovery following cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac patients and assess vital signs.
• Administer medications and implement care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Document and track patient progress in the electronic health record (EHR), EPIC.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a focus in Cardiac care.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
• BLS certification required.
