Job Description

Join Kindred Hospital Aurora as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting. You will work with a diverse patient population, focusing on the assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders. Utilize the ProTouch electronic medical record system to document patient progress and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess communication disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Implement individualized therapy programs for patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress in ProTouch EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families about communication disorders and strategies for improvement.

Required Experience

Preferred experience in an acute hospital setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
