ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (10-Hour Shifts) in Tuba City, Arizona.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four shifts per week, plus on-call responsibilities.

Job Description

The Clinical Nurse provides care for perioperative patients in a diverse and culturally rich community. Responsibilities include performing assessments, formulating nursing diagnoses, planning interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes in the Operating Room across various specialty areas, including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, and Dental. Obtaining scrubbing experience is highly encouraged. The nurse may have to work varied, odd hours when on call and must prepare for emergency cases on very short notice.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in all specialty areas of the Operating Room.
• Provide comprehensive perioperative care to patients.
• Prepare for emergency cases and respond effectively during on-call hours.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of medical providers.

Required Experience

Two (2) years of clinical nurse and/or operating room practical experience.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must have a valid and unrestricted Professional Nursing License from any U.S. state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six (6) months of hire.
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification within two (2) years of hire.
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification must be completed within one (1) year of hire.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within two (2) years of hire.
