Job Description

The Rehab Department at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is expanding and seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. This facility features an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with 35 beds and an Acute Rehabilitation area with 488 beds, supported by a staff of approximately 80 professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists. This position involves delivering patient-centered therapy and engaging in evaluations, follow-up treatments, and specialized care such as vestibular and lymphedema treatments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations to establish treatment plans.
• Provide follow-up treatments and modify care plans as necessary.
• Implement specialized therapies, including vestibular and lymphedema treatments.

Required Experience

Candidates must have relevant experience as a Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation setting. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred to enhance communication with patients.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification required.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
