This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

4x10 Day Shift with some required Saturdays included in the regular shifts. Call for EP is from 6-8 PM if needed.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for various procedures in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath labs, as well as supporting electrophysiology cases. Key areas include STEMI procedures, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, and various structural heart interventions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working with a range of cardiac devices and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Assist in electrophysiology studies and procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to safety protocols.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Document patient information and procedures using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Charge experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with various interventional procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stent placement, and device implantation.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Valid state license preferred; pending licenses accepted.
